NEW BAND – PffT!! (playing classic ’70s fusion)

Jonathan Mover is at it again! He’s replicated his tried-and-true ProgJect approach (constructing mindbending medleys of your favorite songs by your favorite bands) to a bunch of classic ’70s-era jazz-rock fusion. I’m the keyboard player in this particular venture – Andrew Synowiec is an absolutely devastating guitarist who eats this material alive. And I’m super jazzed to finally play with Beller and Mover at the same time – they will be bringing some ferocious east coast edge to this stuff. These are our debut gigs, and Travis Larson will open – there will be more gigs to come!

We got seven BFD gigs for you west coast folks coming up – come see us!! I’m working on music for a new solo album these days, and I’m gonna try real hard to debut some of the new material at these gigs – workload is nuts these days but I really want to do some new tunes live, for you AND for me, so wish me luck please!

BANNED FROM UTOPIA EUROPEAN TOUR OCTOBER 2026

Can’t tell you how excited I am to play with these guys. I haven’t played in a band with Scott and Chad at the same time since 1988 – there’s a thing that only happens musically when those two guys play together, and I am absolutely ready to experience that thing again (after 38 years of not experiencing it).

I’m humbled to have been asked to deputize on this tour for Robert Martin, who as you probably know is sadly unable to perform at this time – all my performances on this tour will be dedicated to Robert with all my love.
