Jaxx I had a great time as host for Mike and BFD as my band, Adrian Galysh and the Electric Mayhem, opened up for them! Mike and friends, after a sound check Steve Vai might even find a bit long, played pool, drank beer, listened to me, and then started the show with my introduction. Now I listen to a lot of different music, from pop to contemporary classical and everything in between, but nothing could prepare me for the mind-numbing (in a good way) two 75-minute sets to follow. A veritable smorgasbord of Beatles-esque songs and vocals meets what I imagine would happen if Frank Zappa sneezed in the middle of a shredding guitar solo and the band did likewise in unison. Good shit, the audience, including my band, was in awe. I would like to thank Mike and his band here and now, for the support, advice, exposure they have given in the past for me and my music.
