Khyber Pass Upstairs At Nick's Upstairs At Nick's Hello to all in Keneallyland! Tom Copson here. It's going to be a lot of fun writing about my experiences with MK/BFD. It all started up when I found out MK was going to be at the National Guitar Workshop in Connecticut, there was no way I was going to miss that. I called the offices of NGW to find out if the I was the last student available to attend. I was so lucky. That same week I also found out that I was going to be the guest host for Philadelphia., that was pretty cool too. That week in Connecticut had a lot of great memories for me. Getting to meet Mike and having him as a teacher was one of the best experiences of my life. He is so talented and such a great musician. As far as the shows, they were unforgettable. The Khyber and Upstairs at Nicks shows were great. The 2nd Upstairs at Nicks show was my favorite. The band really locked in and sounded great. We also had the crew stay over at our house. That was fun too. All in all, I had a great experience and would definitely do it again. --TC
